Honor has officially launched the Honor Play 10A, the newest addition to its budget-friendly product range, in the Chinese market. Positioned in the entry-level segment, this device stands out particularly for its long-lasting battery life and impact-resistant body. Starting at approximately $114, the phone is positioned in the “price-performance” category, focusing on meeting basic daily needs.
Honor Play 10A Unveiled
The Honor Play 10A comes with a 6.75-inch LCD screen offering HD+ resolution. The 90Hz refresh rate of the screen provides a smoother experience when switching between interfaces and using social media.
Supported by software features such as e-book mode and low-light mode to protect eye health, the device is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 processor. Available with 4GB and 6GB RAM options, the phone offers 128GB of internal storage, which can be expanded with microSD card support.
One of the device’s strongest features is its 5,300 mAh battery, which supports 15W wired charging. According to data shared by Honor, even when the battery level drops to 10%, it can offer up to 65 hours of standby time or 3.4 hours of continuous talk time with the screen off.
On the software side, the phone comes with the latest MagicOS 9 interface based on Android 15, and facial recognition is used as a security solution.
The camera setup is quite simple. There’s a single 13-megapixel main camera on the rear panel and a 5-megapixel selfie camera located in a waterdrop notch on the front.
Available in three different color options – Lake Blue, Sky Blue, and Ink Black – the base model of the Honor Play 10A (4 GB RAM + 128 GB) is priced at 799 Yuan (approximately $114), while the top version (6 GB RAM + 128 GB) costs 899 Yuan (approximately $128).
